Ravn are currently in an expansion phase and are seeking for a junior software QA tester who is looking for an opportunity to broaden skill-set in a dynamic business environment. The candidate will be expected to acquire a deep understanding of Ravn technology with a passion and desire to work in a dedicated testing role. You will be a logical thinker and good at problem solving and investigating issues.
Our offices are in the 'Silicon Roundabout' area in Shoreditch, central East London, close to Old Street Tube Station.
Specific responsibilities
You will be working within the development and professional services team primarily focused on core Ravn software systems. Successful tester will be required to produce detailed functional, regression and operational test plans, prepare test data and execute tests and assist developers in resolving issues.
You will be required to execute manual testing and where possible/necessary using automated testing tools.
Education
At least BA/BS in Computer Science or related field; or the equivalent foreign qualifications.
Candidates should have the desire to work in an IT/software/web application based testing environment and ideally have some experience working with any of the following:
Working as part of a small team the Tester must have the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal), hold excellent attention to detail, be self-motivated and ability to use initiative.
